About Me

I'm an undergraduate student studying Game Design at High Point University, with a focus on level design. I am a member of 3 clubs: Game Development, IGDA, and rock climbing.

Fun Facts: My favorite games are Dark Souls III, Minecraft, The Sims4, and Magic: The Gathering. Growing up, you would find me building hunger games maps on Minecraft or designing fun run islands on Fortnite which built a foundational love and appreciation for the role of the level designer.

IGDA

Vice President 2026-2027

I am the Vice President of High Point University's International Game Developer's Association Club.

As the IGDA secretary from 2025-2026, I organized data and schedules for the club and organized information for meetings.

As the current Vice President I have made it my mission to prioritize community service outreach. Across these two roles I also host many workshops for this club and HPU's Game Development Club including topics such as: level design, narrative, pitching, etc.

Conferences

2026 will be my second year in a row going to GDC! Last year I was the only freshman to be invited by the HPU Game Design Dept. to attend GDC. The most recent conference I presented at was Oak City Indie Games in Raleigh. HPU even holds its own game conference every year with the aim to expand student's networks by inviting local game companies and alumni in the game industry or adjacent.

Other events around my school's area I attended to present games and network include Camel City's Game Jam, Duke's Playtesting Night, and Meta Nights XR.

I love taking any chance I can get to travel and meet inspiring game designers and play some great games!
